Faculty Staff Help Center

The Faculty Staff Help Center offers professional and confidential counseling for individuals, couples and families, including bilingual counseling, to address both work and personal issues. It also offers workshops, discussion groups, consultation, departmental training and facilitation services for difficult conversations.

IBIC engages students and those who work with students in a continuous learning journey toward social justice, liberation and a sense of belonging and offers workshops by staff and peer facilitators, including custom-tailored workshops, on identity, diversity, inclusion and belonging.

Office of the Ombuds

The Ombuds Offices are confidential resources that provide coaching, informal mediation, group facilitation, consultations and workshops and departmental trainings around navigating conflict more productively.

There are two Ombuds Offices. One serves the SOM exclusively and the other serves the remaining Stanford schools and centers . Please reach out directly to the appropriate Ombuds Office to request a workshop or training.

 

SHARE Title IX and Title VI Office

The SHARE Title IX Office is the University’s central resource for redressing and preventing sexual harassment and violence issues experienced by all Stanford community members.

 

University HR

University HR offers a variety of professional development trainings, including those for managers and for anyone seeking to hone their skills in a variety of areas. Offerings include a variety of trainings on conflict and how to have more productive and meaningful conversations at work, how to have more challenging conversations, or generally how to improve your skills . Staff may use STAP funds to pay for these courses
